Head Coach
Cesar Deossa played professionally in his native Medellin, Colombia, having come through the youth ranks of Colombian powerhouse Atletico Nacional.
Deossa helped the Rhode Island Oceaneers finish second in the American Soccer League Northeast Conference and reach the playoff semifinals as an assistant coach. He has been involved with many local organizations at the youth level including Valeo FC and has donated countless hours in coaching at the Boys & Girls Club of Watertown.
“I believe in helping players develop their skills, knowledge of the game and passion for the sport,” said Deossa. “I believe this helps them fully reach their potential so that they may take advantage of the opportunities that soccer presents to them.”
Deossa will report directly to Boston City FC President and Head Coach Palhinha, the former star of Sao Paulo, Cruzeiro and the Brazil national team. He will also assist Palhinha with first team training for the club’s National Premier Soccer League team.
